Overview

Under the direction of the Vice President of Corporate Security and in close partnership with the Security Due Diligence Manager, this role ensures the IQT’s investment decisions align with U.S. Government partner requirements and protect national security interests. This person will support the implementation of security and counterintelligence policies that affect IQT partners, employees, and portfolio companies.

 

This position will serve as a liaison with prospective portfolio companies for the collection and analysis of Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI) diligence materials.

Responsibilities

  • Assist diligence efforts by coordinating with companies IQT is considering for investment and collecting required documentation and information.
  • Conduct open-source research and analysis to provide timely, accurate insights that inform investment decisions for IQT and its Government partners.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between IQT deal teams, senior company executives, and U.S. Government security or counterintelligence representatives to resolve complex FOCI-related issues.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic security initiatives and maintain current security plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in responding to all security-related requests from the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR), and other government executive agents.
  • Help manage physical security procedures, including oversight of corporate security systems and support for physical security at government-facing outreach events.
  • Contribute to the administration and delivery of a comprehensive security education and awareness program for employees and cleared contractors.

Qualifications

  • Due to contractual reasons, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required, active SCI and FS poly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), plus 3+ years of relevant experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community security operations.
  • Working familiarity with NISPOM, ICDs, and other industrial security requirements is highly desired.
  • Direct experience with Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI) mitigation, business due diligence, financial investigations, or anti-money laundering (AML) is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise, analytical assessments.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and critical thinking skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable interacting and building relationships with C-Suite and executive -level stakeholders.
  • Experience with physical security systems is a plus.
