IQT's International Team is seeking an intern to assist the team throughout the pre-deal process in supporting diligence efforts such as joining phone calls and meetings with prospective Portfolio Companies, as well as assisting in the creation of deal documents. The team is seeking an intern who is eager to analyze global trends and our work to date, to help drive future strategies in support of increasing and improving IQT's brand awareness and understanding around the world, as well as increasing our value to our Government Partners.

The Investment Summer Associate works closely with other members of the In-Q-Tel Investment Team across various aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, performing diligence, and drafting deal documents. In addition, the Investment Summer Associate contributes to specific market research in targeted technology sectors with an emphasis on delivering high-quality investment theses, presentations, and reports from this research. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm for In-Q-Tel’s mission, passion for technology startups, strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, integrity, and a bias for action.

In working at the Rapid Prototyping Group, you will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers addressing problems of national interest through hands-on work. This role is with the Project Engineering (PE) team. Ideal candidates want a broader view of technology across today’s hardware and software stack. PEs regularly work with a range of field deployable technologies that span a variety of industries including wireless communications, semiconductors, autonomy, materials, power and energy, and space technology. The technologies emanate from early-stage start-ups that IQT has identified, evaluated, and invested in on behalf of our government partners.
The Project Engineering (PE) team at IQT provides technical direction and engineering implementation guidance to startups that are part of IQT's strategic investment portfolio. These startups deliver critical, cutting-edge technology to government partners in the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. This person will focus on the design, development, testing, migration, installation, deployment, maintenance, and support of a range of hardware and software technologies. These can include cloud infrastructure, AI/ML applications, geospatial analytic tools, data analytics platforms, large-scale data systems, multilingual translation tools, additive manufacturing tools, autonomous platforms, supply chain solutions,...
